Those who have pastures for their animals will certainly have livestock and animals. Those who have books lying on their sides and in their pockets will certainly have treasures of knowledge. If you see people coming and going to the shrines, know for sure it is like a flowing rivers. Where rivers dry up, the river seems to be flowing. Where you see birds flying in the sky, understand that the land below is inhabited and fertile. Where you hear the sound of birds chirping in the distance, know for sure that there must be big trees in that settlement. Where you see vulgar people wandering around in a neighborhood or in village, think that there may not be any thieves in that village. Whoever brings these young people into a trap, where the amount of lies is increasing, consider that in that society, justice is now being bought.
Where there is a sudden shortage of common goods, know for sure that the moneylenders do not meet the requirements of weight and measure. Where you see the little ones doing dirty things, make sure that the big ones are not in correct condition. Where the majority is considered to be tip-top and arrogant, the respect of humanity has decreased. Now, showiness has increased.
In a society where hotels are increasing and there is a rush, understand that the incarnations of Sufism and the fortune-tellers are no longer there. In a house where food is often ordered from hotels, understand that the house is suffering from instability. It is hard to imagine that in a society where the evils are at their peak, the children or wives of apparently good men will be running the drug camps. Where you see the villagers walking on the roads and paths until midnight, perhaps the custom of marriage has become a part of worldly problems. Where thefts start to become common, it is easy to understand that the local police are being robbed.
Where protests are held freely, understand that there is a right to freedom of opinion. Where there is a practice of an elected system, understand that the people have the right to decide. Where there is a lot of pomp and show in weddings, it is easy to understand that a share of the earnings is definitely from other people’s wealth. For the one whose death and funeral prayer are made to wait for the big peoples, know for sure that the latter has no love for the funeral.
Our culture and principles, according to the teachings of Shah Abdul Latif Bhittai, do not accept such wrong customs and traditions. So in such a society , if there are not only storms of ups and downs, what else will there be? There، will be restlessness, chaos, anger, distant enmity, and the usual and special things in abundance.
