Shah Bhitai (RA) once said:
I saw people whos eyes always remained wet. Tears flowed through their eyes in the form of a stream without a physical reason. It seemed that their eyes are raining without any cloud. It was a strange site. As I went near and asked, I came to know that there is secret behind this a secret love that can soften the stones which creates streams which makes a barren land fertile. These pious personalities have a spark inside them that generates love.
Friends, I myself witnessed that the eyes of Baba Saeen Ahmed Ali Qureshi (RA) would never stop raining. Today, we see people who like to cry vehemently in front of people in hopes of being recognized as pious. But those people were not like that. They were concerned about other people’s feelings. Friends, those were the Ghauses of their times.
My friends, clay remains valueless until it passes through the hands of an expert potter to become a precious commodity. The greater the skill of the potter, the better is the quality of the product. To produce a valuable product, he wets the clay, softens it and moulds it into the desired shape. Then he must bake it in a furnace and add colours as necessary to bring out a perfect and beautiful item of pottery. Marble or even gemstone is nothing but stone until it is cut, ground, and polished by an expert.Likewise, man can not achieve perfection until he enriches his personality in the company of, and under the guidance of anaccomplished guide. Only that process can bring the best out of his personality and result in the blossoming of the flower of humanity in him that spreads its fragrance to others and attracts them.
