Festivals of happiness are celebrated in every religion, in the same way Eids are celebrated in Islam. Behind them, especially this sacrificial festival teaches the lesson of sacrifice. In this, besides sacrificing a halal animal, many other things have to be sacrificed, but except for eating meat and feeding special friends, other aspects are being left out. Actually, behind the sacrifice in Islam, the sacrifice of Hazrat Ibrahim (peace be upon him) of his son Hazrat Ismail (peace be upon him) means to sacrifice everything that is dear, but at the moment, the dearest thing in our society is our arrogance and pride. If we succeed in sacrificing pride and arrogance on this Eid, then understand the facts will come to be understood, God willing.
Caring for the poor and needy is the essence of Islam, the teaching of the Holy Prophet himself is the highest example. Hajj also presents a great example of uniformity where everyone is presented as the same, there is no difference in the members, nor in disguise etc. Thus, we have adopted some atheism on our part, but it has nothing to do with Islam, they are our own traditions and customs such as storing all meat in refrigerators .It is fun to make sacrifices for three days with the intention that we can feed our guests otherwise there are animals so why don’t all the poor people eat on the first day. If a non-Muslim also comes there to take meat, he should also be given it, but should not be sent as a gift to the big Seths, who had been eating all year long before. This is the right of those who have not had the opportunity to even smell the smell of meat in a year. It is better to wear new pairs, but at least give old spare pairs to those whose clothes are worn. When you heard such surprising words from the mouth of a dervish in Rumi’s room, truly believe that the whole Eid became understandable. Indeed, our unity is established, but we do not see any pity and mercy. In fact, sacrifice is to crush and taste selfishness, sitting and eating with the poor, spending money and blessing the children of the poor, this is the lesson. It is not a lesson to be happy by taking selfies at the doors of these Wadhera’s and political figures who do not even know your name and caste.
