After the death of Saeed Muhammad Ali Baloch, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, the Mehfil of Durood Pak was announced on the night of the 29th of every moon.
Sain Muhammad Ali was inquisitive about spiritualism and had the thirst for Sufism right from his childhood. Since young age, he had been constantly searching for a Murshid, until in 1964, his quest led him to the shrine of Saeen Abdul Rehman Shah (RA). Regardless of the weather or any hardship, he continued to perform his spiritual duties at the shrine of Saeen Abdul Rehman Shah (RA). He performed his duties so diligently that one day, according to him, Saeen Abdul Rehman Shah (RA) himself came physically out of his grave hugged him and transferred spiritual knowledge to him. He then said “From today onwards, I am handing you over to Ahmed Ali Qureshi (RA), the loyal servant of Hazrat La’al Shahbaz Qalandar. From now on, he will continue to guide you on your spiritual journey.” As commanded by Saeen Abdul Rehman Shah (RA), Sain Muhammad Ali Baloch went to Sehwan Sharif, came in the presence of Saeen Ahmed Ali Qureshi (RA), and conveyed his Murshid’s message to him. In addition to teaching him the Durood Pak, Saeen Ahmed Ali Qureshi (RA) also spiritually presented him to the blessed court of La’al Shahbaz Qalandar (RA). It was from here that he gained the blessed access to Prophet Muhammad’s court, (PBUH) and was tasked with preaching of Durood Pak. Baba Saeen Ahmed Ali Qureshi (RA) established the Anjuman Ghulaman-e-Qalandar in 1988, and appointed Saeen Muhammad Ali (RA) as its president. History will remember that Sain Muhammad Ali (RA) faithfully practiced whatever he learnt from his Murshid throughout his life. From Sindh to Punjab, Balochistan, and from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to abroad from the heights of mountains to the depth of the seas, and from the plains to the deserts, Sain Muhammad Ali spread the blessings of Durood Pak to the entire world. A poet once said, “My beloved has commended me to keep on moving forward, and I continued to walk regardless of the weather and terrain, until the angel of death came and knocked on my door”. Of course, he was Prophet Muhammad’s (SAW) beloved, and apple of the eye of Baba La’al Saeen (RA) and Saeen Ahmed Ali Qureshi (RA) and will remain forever.
